I bought my Ritchey SwissCross before the curved stays came out and wonder if they do anything.
Also, can you fit drop bars or is the top tube too long?

Seems a little more smooth riding than other CX bikes I've owned. The Swiss Cross is built more like a MTB than a road bike which means a little longer top tube and more standover. Not sure about drops but maybe with a little shorter stem. I have been messing with riding position(reason for all the spacers). I may be selling this frameset which is NEW, to get a Moots CX frame. The Swiss Cross is a 58 cm top tube c-c.
