Can I fit the 44c WTB tire in there?

Thanks in advance,

I think a 44 would fit in there. I just took measurements of a Tufo 34 mounted in a P2. There was 18 mm from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fork crown, 54 mm from side to side measured at the top of the tire, and 17 mm from the side of the tire to the inside of the leg. The only problem might be that as the tire gets taller, the side to side clearance decreases with the unicrown design of the fork.

I have Ritchey 700c Zed's on my Kona Major Jake. They are 42mm tires - they fit the fork and chain stays just fine - just have to deflate them to get them past the Avid cantilever brakes. The "fuzz" on the mutanoraptors might take the paint off the inside of the fork tho, and you might have some mud pack problems if the race course or trail turns soupy.....

Good luck, keep us posted....
