I've added Tektro top levers to my S-works but the rear feels like it is harder to pull than should be required. I've got a set of Paul's on another bike that work well. I've rechecked the cable housing to make sure all is smooth (new cables) but I'm not running full housing which is what is suggested in the instructions, I haven't had to run that before. It also seems that the bend required from the last cable stop on the top tube to the cable hanger on the seat clamp may be part of the culprit. Anyone with similar experiences?
Don't worry about the full cable housing...The Walrus

...it wasn't until I was installing my 4th or 5th set of Tektro levers that I got a pair that actually had the installation instructions included and I read about the full cable housing business. Got a little nervous thinking I'd done the other bikes improperly, but realized they work just fine with a "normal" setup.

Sounds like you need to trim that last bit of housing, so that you've got the shortest length possible, to minimize any curves that would cause binding.
