Anybody switch their levers to the Euro right/front, left/rear on their cross bikes BUT run the US mounting on their other bikes? I was wondering if switching between different bikes might cause some confusion, especially at the wrong time. I don't really want to switch out all the other bikes also.

I do, and it doesn't seem to be a problem, BUT if you're not used to it, ya gotta pay a little more attention.

I run my road and cross bike Euro style but my mountain bike US style and I've never had any problems. In fact, it seems pretty automatic after you brake once or twice at the beginning of a ride.

I run "regular" on my road & mountain bikes and reversed on my 'cross bike, and it works out well. I tend to use the left (front) brake for most of my stopping power on the road, so that's a plus when I switch over to 'cross, since the rear will be your dominant brake on dismounts, etc.

Cheers!

Road, cross, and mtn all the same. There is no confusion or having to get used to a bike during the first few minutes of a ride.
