I'm looking for some advice from anyone with experience using Campy 10 speed stuff on a cross bike. Specifically, I'm wondering if a 10 speed chain will work with the popular 42 or 44 tooth single ring set ups (like TA). Thanks in advance!

shouldn't be an issue. I'm assuming you are worried about 42 TA ring being compatible with narrow campy chain? I'm sure TA makes rings to match, I don't think it's (spacing) as much of an issue in the front as it is the rear. I'm sure someone will have the definitive answer as there are Campy 10 users out there. I know some use Campy with MTB type cranks so those would have 9 sp ring size and I've never heard a complaint.
yeah, no worriesjm3

That's why FSA cranks/rings can be used with either 9 or 10 speed - same width.

Absolutely no probs at all with using a 10 speed chain with regular chain rings. I run 9 speed campy on a ritchey mtb crank and chainset no probs. The width of chain is only important at the rear end due to such a narrow spacing between the cogs.Have fun
