2001 Bianchi Axis worth $900??weiwentg

someone has an almost new 2001 Bianchi Axis in my size. easton ultralight tubing, alloy fork (in 2002 they had carbon), raced once, apparently has a small dent in the TT. $900 is probably too much. what's a fair price?
That's a bit high...The Walrus

...assuming that there were no upgrades. I got a NOS '01 Axis for $900 recently from an LBS (and got them to swap out the 105 STI for Dura-Ace barcons and Tiagra aero levers--Sheldon's favorites), so I wouldn't go over $750 on this one; if the dent is really insignificant and everything else seems good and the seller's not a jerk,
i maybe
$800.

Incidentally, if you're on good terms with a Bianchi dealer, lean on 'em a bit. They might be able to track down an NOS bike; a dealer in Pasadena found me one in a warehouse in Ohio long after everyone else insisted the '01s were gone. (Stuff like that is why I buy local, and not mail-order...)
