|I know the older I get, the faster time seems to fly. Was it just me or was this one of the quietest season in CX in the past few years?
Is CX racing going the way of mountain bike racing, before CX really even had a chance to take off?
Perhaps I just missed it due to being busy. When does the season (here in the states) generally begin and end?

|Round here (so Cal) it starts around October and is done around January. I hope it doesn't "take off" like mtn bike, its a lot more fun underground and local grassroots type thing the way it is.

|Here in WI it starts around Sept/Oct and is also done in January.
I agree w/Hardtail in that I like it as a local grassroots type of thing also. I don't want it to "take off" like MTB. Hell, look at what's happening there. Talk about a slow death.
At least 'cross is much more "spectator friendly".

|In the Mid-Atlantic it was a HUGE season. Combined with the NE and you could race 2 races every weekend for 3 months.
CX racing is BIG and MTB is also big, just because NORBA is screwed up doesn't mean it isn't happening. Again, the Mid-Atlantic series gets over 400 racers every MTB race and is fantastic every year.
