I have found that eBay is the best place to get a lot of stuff. If you have a 7 speed system you can just switch to friction and run it that way. I recently bought a set of Ultegra barcons for 35 bucks, brand new with cables, braze-on thingies, etc. I think that seller name is rvampi if you want to do a seller search on eBay.

look for 7 sp on ebay as he said. otherwise use 8sp in friction mode, or upgrade to 8, can usually get good 8 sp stuff cheap on ebay as well.
I have like two pairs of Suntours.....Trevo

Keep an eye on Loose Screws (www.thethirdhand.com/index.cgi); they manage to come up with all sorts of obscure/"obsolete"/outlandish stuff.

I never had a problem using 8sp barcons with a 7sp cassette in index mode. My touring bike came with that very setup, and it was always crisp, accurate and reliable.
funky barcons, but they workfilipo23

I have a pair I can sell you cheap. They're 7-speed, but the right/rear is a little funky -- it's a down-tube lever ganked onto a bar-end body that a Japanese-genius friend of mine made for me (thank Hiroki!). I personally think it looks cool. The left is normal and in pretty new condition, since I've never actually used it. I raced on this setup and did just fine. (Well, just fine for me -- which means not last place.) Let me know if you're interested -- filipo23r AT yahoo.com
