this was, and still is, the sickest cross bike ever.
it's a 60cm podium with deore mechanicals. All stock with some upgrades here and there. If you are interested, I have a couple different wheelsets (with rotors!) that you can choose from, or hell buy both of them for a little extra $$$. One is lighter, one is burlier. I am asking $600 and it's mostly been ridden on the road. Low miles. Has a new SRAM chain right now, ready to go. Email me for a pic if you want one. Thanks for looking! Don't make me put this beauty up on Ebay!

What are you going to build up as a SS? Here's my SS Steelman Eurocross 525. I have only ridden it fixed on the road so far, but I absolutely love it. I'm looking forward to throwing some 'cross tires on it and seeing how it handles offroad. For now, though, I have to get in the road miles...I'm riding the MS-150 ride (158 miles total) with just one gear : )

I own a shop, so I will probably build up a crosscheck singlespeed, and hope it goes under 20lb. I snagged the WTB off-road drops off the podium and they will be the centerpiece of the new rig. Been hearing rumors you can't get em anymore, so I am definitely going to run em on whatever cross bike I got. You can bunnyhop barriers like a mofo with those bars. Well, anyway, I need to sell the podium first. Hate to see it go, but in MO, I think SS for CX is the way to go.

I had a Cross-check before, and they're super versatile. I had mine set up as an SS, as well. I also ran WTB Dirt Drop bars on it (now on another one of my bikes)...you're right, they're hard to find now.

Good luck with the build-up.
