| IRC Mythos XC or Kenda Kwick feedback | weskimad Apr 7, 2003 4:42 AM | | Both these tires are offered in 35c, appear to have low center knobs for low rolling resistance. I'm looking for a tire for a combination of commuting, then reducing pressure for trail riding. Anyone have experience with these tires? |
| re: IRC Mythos XC or Kenda Kwick feedback | lookin for help Apr 7, 2003 5:50 AM | | I put on a set of the 35 kenda quicks first week of march. I have been riding them mainly on the road and gravel roads of SE Ohio and have been pretty pleased with them. I went with them for the exact same purpose of commute - fire road/back road riding and singletrack -so far so good but I have had no experience with the mythos. (or many other cross tires - this is my first spring with a cross bike)

I noticed a weird thing about the wear, though--the "regular" (i.e., purchased at the LBS) ones I used wore fairly quickly on the center when I rode them on pavement, but the Bianchi-spec'd set (the ones with the blue sidewalls) on one of my Axises (Axes?) wear
'i ' much
better. I think you can still get those directly from Bianchi (www.Bianchiusa.com). |

| re: Bianchi Kwick's | The Walrus Apr 9, 2003 10:40 PM | | Wire bead, but, hey! They're only $20, and they are a great all-around tire. ...and on the right bike, they look pretty good, too. |
