|Despite biblical rains in the preceeding week, the course was unbelivably dry. Some moron on a single speed won. A good time was had by all.

|I was running a 34-16. The course was almost completely flat for the riding portions. We had to remove one riding hill on the course as we would have completely wrecked some sod and landscaping they just put in. The course was not all that fast though as it was mostly soggy grass.
I pretty much run 34-16 for everything now, some courses I suffer a lot more than others, I feel that I can ride pretty well at low or high cadences due to excessive
amounts of ss MTB and fixie riding, so I just churn away.
The first race we ran was REALLY hilly and between the snow and the mud I could not clip in and I got my butt kicked.
