Chuck's bikes lists this for $250 with carbon fork. Anyone know anything about this frameset?

Thanks.

Looks like a nice enough frameset, and a great price; stuff from Chuck's has always seemed like an excellent value to me.

The one downside to this frame is the sloping top tube/compact design. You want more room, not less, inside the triangle of a race-oriented cyclocross bike. If you're going to be doing a lot of fast dismounting and shouldering the bike for run ups, I'd go with a more traditional top tube to facilitate getting your arm through the triangle easily. If you're looking for a solid commuter/on-off roader and don't anticipate doing a lot of racing on it, this frame should do fine.

Don't know anything about the fork, however.

Cheers!

Thanks for the input. I am looking for a race worthy frame - but on a budget. I think I'll keep looking.
