...find long-stem presta tubes in 700 X 32 sizes for deep-section wheels? Haven't had any luck yet on the web or LBS.

...last time I looked (about half-a-year ago), they had tubes that not only had extra-long stems, but they were compatible with larger (e.g., cyclocross) tires.

I'm running Velocity Deep V's and use conventional tubes. The valve stems sticks out just enough to expose a few threads and let me use a presta-to-schrader adapter. The adapter lets me pump up the tube and away I go!

Thanks to the guys at http://www.ontheroute.com/ my LBS for teaching me this little trick!

I used presta valve extenders on a Shimano R535 wheelset; I was surprised that there's no unusual leakage, even though the presta valve has to be left "open". I wouldn't recommend these for 'cross use, though, since they can't be capped and mud will get down in there. Anyone ever see any that do have a cap (and the external threads and nut to keep 'em from disappearing when you try to get the pump's chuck on 'em)?
