Dura ace hubs good choice for cross wheels?amflyer

Are they stout enough, or are they built more for weight savings? Would Ultegra be a better shoice? Other hubs in that price range that would be better?

Thanks

Steve

D/A is fine if ya got the dough. I'd go with Ultegra, a tad heavier but you won't cry as much if they die. I'm 230 and run Ultegra on one of my bikes. they are doin' just fine

Shimano 105 is an even better selection, IMHO, for my racing C-X wheels. Since I only use them about 20 times a year (about 8-9 actual races, + about 10 training races) then they should pretty much last forever. The weight savings over D/A or Ultegra doesn't justify the cost. My training wheels, on the other hand, are Ultegra, which IMHO last longer than 105, and aren't that much more expensive.
