What's the fattest tire you've been able to squeeze into your Empella Bonfire? Time for a new frame and it's down to the Empella or the Bianchi Scandium. Same price but I'm leaning towards the Empella.

I am running 32's with a lot of clearence. I have the carbon fork which has a lot of room. I have received many comments on how much room the fork has, not sure if alluminum is the same. Rear triangle not as much space but plenty. So don't worry about tires with this frame. Rides better than my old steel Bianchi cross bike!

I have used the Tufo 34's and they are great...Not a lot of mud in CO but worked great in Nationals last weekend.

Empella makes a great CX frame. the best part is the flat top tube for shouldering.

good luck
