VIDEOS OF NAPA NATIONAL ELITE RACEheavylegs

Provided the event goes (it's flooding in Napa, by now) I will be at the event and taping the Mens Elite race tomorrow. It will not be continuous coverage, but rather, will focus on the course layout, and keeping the lead riders onscreen for as long as possible from each vantage point each lap. As far as I know, the only live coverage will be on www.adventuresportsradio.com; and I will be the only one offering videos of the event. If interested, please contact me at jason_rahlwes@hotmail.com. Each copy will cost $10-US. I am a professional videographer and a "B" class racer, so it should be a good combination. I also have covered the Coyote Point Cyclocross event (Frishi and Wells), tapes are available also for $10-US. Feedback, comments, and questions welcome. Thanks, Jason

DVD recording or writing is possible but that's out of reach right now at this price range. The idea is that for ten dollars, how could you "not" get it?

Any chance you could put up a 60 second sample? That'd give us a chance to check out the quality, coverage, etc.

Thanks in advance for braving the monsoon!

Again, the idea is that the tape is very affordable and I figured I might just get a bunch of checks in the mail. To answer your question more directly: the chances are not good. I'll need to borrow a lot (more) equipment for that, incurring more and more cost...that's eventually passed on to you, the viewing customer. I'm trying to keep it simple here.

I was able to run around in the pouring rain and mud and muck with camera and tripod after participating in the B's race for only one additional hour...it turned out good. It is fairly comprehensive and, imho more telling than still shots. In all, the tape is fifteen minutes long, which makes sense, since you can only see the riders for a minute or two each time around the course. They did about ten laps, or so.

THANKS FOR THE QUESTIONS!
