Tube Choicelaffeaux

I'm running 32mm Ritchey WCS cross tires. I just bought new tubes tonight and it made wonder what others use. I bought 700x18-25 standard weight tubes instead of the 700x28-35 tubes because they were 20g lighter per tube. Does anyone run 700x18-25 superlight tubes? If so was there a significant increase in the number of flats?

to save 40g it is not worth it, just run the bigger heavy tubes. I guarantee you'll pinch flat lighter tubes quicker on a cross bike.
Maybe, but ...laffeaux

I run 26 x 1.25-1.50 tubes in my 2.1" MTB tires and never have had problems. I figure the "super light" version for a larger diameter tire, is the standard version of the next size down.

so you have it sorted then. I wouldn't do it just to save weight but that's just me. I flatted plenty of clinchers when I had them, the tyres just aren't as big and cushy as MTB tyres so I wouldn't risk it personally.
