I believe it was this past Sunday. Who won? How was the course?

I did the 4/5s race. 10 minutes before the start we had a nice little down pour the made the singletrack good and greasy. I guess the course was better than last year, but I thought it kind of sucked as far as a 'cross course goes. There were only two sets of barriers and they were on parts of the course that were very slow, so there was really not much technique involved. As we started lapping riders in the singletrack, it got really slow through there. No room to pass and I don't know how many times I got stuck behind guys crashing. I ended up 11th, but thought I had done better than that. I have a feeling there were some lapped riders that got scored ahead of me.

I didn't have time to stick around for the other races, so I don't know who won the A's, etc. And the results aren't posted on the web yet. Although I do have some buddies that did the 35+ race. Tim Boundy got first and Jim Nowak got third.

I loved the mud! It stopped raining for our race, but it sure was gooey!

Anyone going to the Southside for the XXX race on Sunday?
9am start for everyone...could be interesting!

I'll definitely be at Rockford - look for the canary yellow Waterford in the womens' race!

Is what the flyer is titled, so I'm not sure what that means!

Here is the info as written on flyer I have:
Sunday, Nov 17 at Midlothian Meadows Forest Preserve.
Where: Forest Preserve at Crawford between 154th and 159th St. Midlothian. Take Dan Ryan to I-57. Exit at 159th (Rt. 6) Westbound to Crawford, turn right. Entrance will be on your left. (looking at map, the course looks to be south of Bremen Township HS)

$5 entry, no license required. Registration starts at 9am, "ride" starts at 10am. Categories and prizes undefined, based upon attendance.

I'm curious to know how this got permitted, as Cook County has said NO to everyone for the past 10 years.
That’s probably why it’s a “ride”, not “race”….TFerguson

The MTB competitions are "challenges".
