Misty, cloudy, cool day - excellent day for a cross race. Course was fast, fun, and technical with a good balance of power sections and challenging obstacles.

I've always had good races on this course and led the race for a lap before getting passed with 3 laps to go by the national semi-pro MTB champ (WTF?). Held on for 2nd although I was fading hard in the last lap.

Generally not a big fan of this course, I had a blast yesterday. This course works out great on days like yesterday. I'm glad they did not put barriers on top of uphills like they did before, bmx style. You did great. You've been knocking on the door for a while, you'll win soon. Try and drop a pound or two this week before saturday's Colorado Spgs, you'll be right there climbing with the skinny guys.

yeah, another good race Craig. the guy that won was in the chase group with me. when he attacked to go after you none of us even thought about trying to follow him! you did start coming back to us pretty fast on the last lap, but we were to busy worrying about fighting each other for 3rd -5th as a group and nobody would commit to driving the group towards you on the last lap.

Translation of Categories

If a rider wants to ride in an ACA cyclocross race and they hold a mountain bike license issued by another federation, ACA will determine their catagories in the following manner:

*Pro/Semi Pro to Category 2
*Expert to Category 3
*Beginner/Sport to Category 4

(all i know is he is fast as hell, during the last race he attacked my group on the road and nobody even tried to respond.....)

i wouldn't want to move up to the open race and get my butt kicked by gully, travis and the rest of the "boulder cross mafia" (as chris zigmont called them at nationals last year)
