I had my first cross race of the season yesterday. I felt fairly good (not sure how I finished), but it was definitely a shock to my system.

I'm an Expert XC MTB race so I'm more of a 2.5-3.0 hours kinda race-guy where endurance kicks-in. These 1.0 hrs sprints are going to take some getting used to. As I type this, I can definitely feel the after-effects in my legs.....I love it!

Mike, that is a pretty cool screenshot! May I ask what kind of polar heart rate monitor it is and what additional package do you need to set it up to be able to have all that info? I'm pretty unfamiliar with the polar lineup and would like to know just what I'd need to have the same type of information. thanks and take care

It's a Polar S-710 HRM. The only additional thing you'll need is the IR interface to download/upload from the HRM to your PC, and vice versa.
