|Where should I get some 'cross tubies? And which ones are go||dcm311|

|I'm looking looking for a source for non-vittoria 'cross tubies (we get wholesale on those, they wear out too fast, and green doesn't match my bike). I'd prefer Tufos, but don't know much about the different models. Anyone have suggestions?

|why not try www.cyclocrossworld.com. They have Tufo's + more. Lot's of great tyres to choose from. The Prestige Tufo's are a pretty sweet tyre, the Elite's are supposed to be awesome but are extra $$$. The Prestige will be enough for anyone.|

|They've got a very wide selection of 'cross tubulars, including the various Tufo models. Also give some thought to the Challenger Grifo -- it's made using the old Clement molds & tooling (in Thailand, I think, where most "European" tubies these days are made -- the Tufos are Czech-made, I believe), which CCWorld has on their site.
I've got a pair of the Clement Grifo Neves for this year, and practice runs so far have been pretty promising. The casing is extremely supple, and the tires are well suited to exploring the amazing traction you can get at the lower boundaries of tire pressures.
Of course, if you've recently won the lottery, CCWorld also carries the Dugast tubulars.

|Try www.sdeals.com E mail them I don't think they list the cross any more. I ran Tufo's last year, I had broblems with failures around the valve stem. I've been using Continental cross atacks and they've been great.|

|The Griffos seem good so far, but I haven't raced on them. Any LBS with a Quality Bicycle Parts account can order them for you.
