I had the pleasure of getting my hands on an On-One singlespeed frame during it's put-together. Man that thing is seriously built! The hubs look like BMX dirt jumpers and weigh a ton, they seem like serious overkill. The frame, in particular the dropouts, chain tensioners and seatstays, are industrial grade in the nicest way. And the paintjob is sweet as.

Yep, Brant @ On-One makes some nice stuff....just check out the new Ti cross bike below. At any rate, you'll likely need to swap-out the front fork for something with a little more tire clearance if you are going to be using it for 'cross as the spacing on the stock fork is very, very narrow.

mine. nice bike, nice ride, not enuf tire clearance in the fork (for me).
