Hey,
I have an IF, and just building it up, what cranks are you using and what spindle length
on the BB, I tried a Ultegra 109.5 but my inner ring hits the chain stay? Do I need the
118 mm ?

Thanks Rick

Hi rick. actually i'm just considering getting the IF--don't actually have one yet. Not sure about the BB problem. You're talking about a double chainring, right?

I only use the Michelins for racing. They're listed as 30 but are actually larger, probably 35. For fun, I was hoping I'd be able to put some monster 29" mountain bike tires on it, but the chainstays don't provide enough clearance. I haven't investigated tires between these sizes yet.

You have to use an XTR bottom bracket, and Michelins are the biggest I've used. Unfortunately IF didn't tell me what size when I called, therefore, I have chipped paint on my stays! 118 is what I think the XTR is.
