WTB dirt drop opinionswspokes

I am thinking of putting on some WTB dirt drop bars on my Surly and want to know some opinions. I run a softride flexstem on my crossers and I am quite used to its performance with regular drops and quite pleased as well, but I am wondering if I will take some getting used to using the dirt drops or is it an immediate improvement or should I just stay with my Tioga regular drops...opinions? and thanks ahead of time for answers and responses.

on the SS board. He's a longtime dirt-dropper. Some other cats over there run them, I recall seeing a pair on an On-One Il Pompino.

Thanks, I seem to have all the bits and pieces from the shop therefore I am in good shape. I will look below at some of the previous opinions. I have also been a long time drop fan, I started with road riding, gave up rippin the trails with the mtb ages ago and have been using a Bianchi Project all switched up and then the Surly. Hope to be hanging here more often. thanks to all.

If you still have the WTB drop bar, I'm interested. Please drop me an email at jkurleto@umich.edu with how much you're asking when you have a chance. Thanks.
