Is that north branch or Des Plaines River trail?Alex-in-Evanston

The North Branch trail is paved, isn't it? There's a nice little mtb trail off the north branch, but that's way up in Glencoe.

Just curious,

I work in Niles and use the North Branch to get to work from the Lakeview neighborhood. Lately instead of heading home on Elston Ave (bike lane). I head over to Central just south of Devon Ave. Off of Indian Road Woods on Central is a trail that will take you all the way over to LaBagh woods (Foster and Cicero area).

Map is here...

Great pics, I like the mix of urban then transition to trails etc. Fun riding. I ride my crossers on some hellacious terrain in Pa. I have heard people say to me, " Oh you ride that on logging roads only!" and it is partially true...2-3 foot deep ruts with the island in between to challenge any gymnist keeps things interesting!! It's cool to see where others ride!
