I was wondering how many people use the Tektro mini-V brakes for their 'cross bikes?

I've seen them in a BMX catalog for $17 a pair, and was thinking of picking a set up after I got my Paul's bar-top levers.
I've heard you can use regular road levers with these since they don't seem to require a ton of cable pull. Is this true?

Whadda you guys think about them?

I have one on the front of my Sunn Cyclos now. Few mud clearance, and hard to attach the cable at ideal cable length. Brakepower with stock pads is good, but feel is mushy, you still need a little more cable pull then normal dropbar levers, and only slightly less then with long V's, as the arms are not all that much longer. Can't I somehow alter the pull on my Ultegra STI levers?
