May 31, 2002 7:52 AM | | Following my disasters with the Mich muds, I hunted for a tyre that would let me train without worrying about punctures, grip well when needed but roll well too. Finally I ordered some Schwalbes - smoother one for the front in a 38 and a knobblier one for the rear in a 42.
Tested them for 2 weeks now on mixed trail/mud/road, and they are great. Probably a bit heavy for racing if you care about weight, but great for trails/training. Nice smooth ride too.
