|I'm trying to do a sport that my body was not meant for, that doesn't discourage me from doing what I love.
I've been riding for 15 months, started racing this year.I primarily do road and just got the MTB (to race it as well). At the end of this year I will be racing Cross for the first time. Anyways I've already lost 35 pounds and can't wait to get down to 170(I'm 240 now). This was my normal weight when I was doing Waterpolo in college 5 years ago. After having surgery for a ruptured apendix three years ago, I've been struggling w/reoccuring surgical hernias, a slowed metabolizim and lack of motivation. The lack of motivation has ended know that I'm racing - can't wait to get back to my full potential!!

|good on ya. I'm 230 +, my waterpolo/crew weight was 210, I'd love to get back to it as well. Keep riding, you'll lose some bulk and drop some pounds but you'll get some back in your legs. Clydesdales Unite.|
