Ive got a pair of cxp21's off an older cannondale silkroad,, would I destroy the wheels?? ive been hearing cxp used,, is that a different model??

There's no eyelets in the CXP 21 so that you may end up pulling a spoke through like I did. And my wheels didn't see any real cross, a bit more than 3000 kilometres of winter commuting did the trick. But then again, if you've already got the wheels, why not use them?

The CXP's people talk about are probably CXP 33's.

for a full series of racing, about 15 races ands they were fine. If you have them use them.

I have been using a pair for a couple of seasons, they have worked fine. I use them for hard singletrack and a few races. Did break a couple of spokes this past season, but I think that was due to hard use and not a problem with the wheels...
