|Today, I went for a 90 minute ride in the cold and snow of Montreal. Mostly, I rode the caleche road of Mount Royal -- hardpack snow since the storms this week -- but I did have to go over some slushy, salty roads to get there. When I got home, I hosed down my bike, careful to avoid direct high pressure to the headset and BB, and wiped it down and dried it.
D'you think that's sufficient cleaning at this time of year?

|When I wash down the bike like that I dry it and then lube the mechanicals right away. So if your not lubing I might suggest that, the washing part seems fine.|

|I'm lubing. Glad to know I'm on the right track.
Cross bikes have this way of getting dirtier than road bikes, no? :)
