Anyone using these at the moment?? I`ve used them on MTBs but have never tried the road lever ones, any comments?? Do they over power the fork?? Going to build up a 2002 KHS CX-100 softtail. Looking to try something a little different.
Have them on my MTBs, but . . . .Fiver

I'd be a little leery about putting them on a 'cross bike. Yes, they're wonderful brakes, but I wonder if they would overpower the narrower 'cross tires and cause you to skid instead of smoothly slowing the bike. You can only slow down as quickly as your tires can grip, after all.

On the other hand, they really aren't
i that
much more powerful than well-adjusted cable v-brakes, so maybe this wouldn't be an issue.

Okay, this was probably absolutely no help to you. Have you tried asking over in the MTBR Brakes forum? There are a lot of experienced Magura-users over there who might give you some better advice.
