|I just picked up a used Brodie Romax. Bike is nice except I need to swap out the stem pronto! It has a Brodie brand negative 5' rise (I know I can turn it upside down, but that won't solve the whole problem), 55mm length (c-c) stem on it now and it's a tad low and too long for me. Anyone have a used stem for me? I'm looking for about a 5' rise, maybe 35mm length (c-c) stem. Colour unimportant. Looking for a good fit, not glamour.

|OK, I'm a dumbass. Apparantly I don't know how to read a tape measure. My stem measures 135mm (5.5") and I need something around the 90-100mm mark. Still liking a 5' rise.

|But it is a quill Icon Graphite stem 1 inch, 110 in length w/ a 15 degree rise. This came of my Trek X01 but it was too short for me.

|What good is a quill stem gonna do the guy when he's currently got a threadless setup????
I'd try Nashbar or someplace like that. You can get a house brand for $14.95, and they have a bunch of others on sale for <20

|Thanks guys but I just ordered a new one. Got a cheapie but it'll do the job and was priced low enough to make it worthwhile.
