I assume its the same type that came on my Ritchey Swiss Cross. Mine is very flexible fore and aft and stiff laterally. Great shock absorption, but can oscillate quite a bit on hard braking. I've read this is common with steel forks. I'm guessing mine weighs about 1.5 lbs.

I've been looking for a fork like this - 1" threadless steerer - if that's what this Ritchey fork is can you direct me to where you are purchasing and how much? Thanks _ Adam

Buddy of mine bought one for cheap at www.bike2build.com , to replace his Kinesis Alu fork. He is one happy camper! Much better brake flex dampening so he says. I'm more looking at carbon for myself, otherwise I'd already be riding one as well. Weight indeed is slichtly over 800g, uncut.
