|I don't know the spec of your bike, but when using my Campy Racing Triple on the road, the thing I miss is the larger ring (my top is a 50, giving 50/12 top combo), so as the other posters have suggested, you may want to go up on the ring size, sepending on your speed/style of riding. Otherwise, depending on your fit/geo, you may want to consider a longer/lower stem, to give you a bit of aerodynamics, or if you don't want to do that, you could try a pair of add-on aero bars if you fancy - even the "minis" like the Spinachis make a nice difference to your tuck position, and can be had cheaply (www.probikekit.com for example has them cheap at the moment).
Other than that, I find my CX fine for training on the road, if not as fast/comfortable over longer rides as my roadie, so I wouldn't worry too much.
