|Is a good narrow full tread knobby 26 inch tire. I used it for cross racing on courses with more single track than grass fields.
Since you're running discs, why not build them up with 700c rims?

i found the tires at www.bicycletire.com for 19 bucks.. please check them out... i was going to run/built up 700, but i figure i really do not want to invest to much $$ and i really do not want to tear down a sweet set of chris king wheelset..

|Cambria Bike (www.cambriabike.com) has them. I've never used them; but the tread seems to be less agressive than the Contis.|

|WTB used to make their Allterrainasauras in a 26"x32/30 size, perfect for cross. The tread is kind of an intermediate, I think you can still see it on their web site, www.wtb.com. I have a pair that have about 10 miles of road riding on them that I would sell for $30.00 shipped.
Email me at MLUDL@LUDL.COM if you are interested.

|Wow, that´s great! I won 2 of my 3 ever wins (allregional mtb-cx races this winter) on Minotaur 380´s and one with one as front. They don´t seems to like thick mud very much, lotsa clogging.
They however love fast grass, provide good comfort and corner predictably. Lightest knobby tire that counts, IMHO...
However too wide to pass the UCI´s often used rule of 35mm max tires.
