Is it me or is that a 1" fork in 11/8 tube in Gullys bike at:

You can purchase a sleeve like adapter to run a 1" fork on a 1 1/8" steerer tube. I will see if I can find a link to provide an image.

Most likely it is a internal threadless system. I looked over the site and campy offers one as well as empella's own model.

I like the rides offered on cyclocrossworld.com
Wish I could afford a team set up or be offered a sponsership.

It is an integrel head set. Campy calls it the hidden set.

It's called a headset reducer, and I had to buy one for my 1-1/4 headset Cannondale mountain bike when I replaced the fork. Expensive as hell--$40+ for two little aluminum rings that press into the head tube and mate with the 1-1/8 steerer tube.
