Well,Jimbo, this is your lucky day as it is the day that I took my first ride on my new 2002 Carpe Diem. "Beautiful frame" according to my custom Ibis-riding partner. The new finish is the best that I have seen yet on a titanium frame, any titanium frame. (other than paint, which I prefer) They have added a gusset beneath the downtube for obvious reasons. Today's ride was on the road using my Ritchey tires so not really a trail test. The frames tend to run large, so definitely think smaller frame size if the top tube length works for you.

Looks like I might use this bike for the Ironhorse Classic this year, if I go. I have the Co-Motion fork on my bike and the fork is pretty heavy but the only touring fork that they offered. Though I am completely opposed to the concept, I think this really could be a one and only bike, if I was forced to go that direction. Great looking and riding bike. Hope that helps.
