Time ATAC vs. Crank Brothers Egg Beatergnu

Looking to change form SPDs. Who's ridden both? And what do you like/dislike about them? Any recommendations? I can score a deal on both, and weight is not a major concern. Need to outfit 2 bikes, but I will NOT be getting one of each.

I am on my second set of time atac alum pedals. I have no need to try other pedals, being that they work flawless in mud and ice. If need be I will purchase a third set of Time ATAC's.
I've only ridden 5 hours on the Egg Beaters...CoraB

but at this point I think I prefer them. Easier entry and exit for me. Although you say weight isn't an issue, my Time ATAC aluminums were pigs and I was glad to shed the weight.
My wife went from SPD's to the Egg Beaters and couldn't get used to them -I can't understand why (I found them to be exceptionally easy to engage 4 sides x 3 entry methods) but now I have a pair on my MTB and my Cross bike.
While on the trail I ran into a rider who said he simply couldn't release from his Egg Beaters - I've heard this said of Time's as well.
I think the Egg's will do nicely for XC if that's your intention.
