brakes - suntour xc pro or dia compe??eccolafilosofiadelpedale

i've got dia compe cantis on my 'cross bike at the moment (the classic 'cross ones that stick out to the side), which are ok, but worse than the dual pivots on my road bike.

i've got some suntour xc pro cantis as well, anyone know if these will work better? i'm using shimano slr brake levers.

cheers, simon
it's not about the brakebn

it's your set-up.... if done right canti's will be as good or probably better than dp's or v's

the two brakesets that i can use are both cantis.

what i was wondering is if anyone knows which type of canti works best with an aero brake lever: the dia compe style ones where the arms sit horizontally, or the xc pro type where the arms sit at a 45degree angle.

thanks, simon

throw them both out and find some Avid Tri-Allign's!--just kiddin(sort-of)..both sets of brakes you have will work..but it sounds like you just need someone w/experience to set'em up--go to a shop and PAY someone to set'em up proper...later
