Looking at buying a Rock Lobster, anybody own one? Either custom or standard production frame?

I own one and I love it but I bought mine from this guy in the East Coast but it is not a standard frame. It is made out of Deddaccai Zero tubing. No water bottle mounts(I guess he wants a full on cross bike) Head tube length is longer than normal to make.(To elevate the stem height) I am not sure about the angle of the head tube but it looks pretty steep for faster steering. If there is any changes for me it would be a heavier set of main traingle tubing because the flex is not to my liking.( I think I weigh more than the required tubing.)

Mitch,
Thanks for the info. I have a road bike that is Deda Zero and it has too much main triangle flex for my liking. I just heard that Rock Lobster is making an Easton tubed cross bike (custom only).

Easton tubes sounds good. I think you can also specify w/c steel tubes you want to use. Just give them a call. Yeah, the Deda Zero tubing has some flex but I can't really complain because I got a really good deal:)

Happy Trails,

I have a Purple RL that is now set up and running 29" fully rigid. If you are looking for a used one e-mail me back with what size and price you are looking for.
