|Can't decide which cat to do. I've only done some small local races which I don't usually do too well in, but they are usually 1 hour+ in length. I'd rather do a 45 min and start later than the 30 minute first thing in the morning, but don't want to get humiliated too bad. I usually race sport MTB, cat 5 road and I usually finish toward the back. I don't mind getting crushed, I just don't want to be overly embarrassed in a race that may actually have a few spectators.|

|Just one man's observation here but I would suggest you enter the C's using a singlespeed like your elders do so that you've got a good excuse for getting a butt-whoopin like I do. Sound good?|

|And might I mention that it helps to refine one's diet a titch. The "Beer and Brats" diet that you so adhere to does not work in the least. Been there, burped that!|

|The "Killer Bees" are a very competitive group. They mainly consist of experts and Cat 3's. It will be one of the largest groups of the day. The C race is more composed of guys who are 'cross beginners. While their competitive appetite is just as ferocious as the B's, it won't be nearly as fast. Presuming that it's dry and they use the same course as years past, it will be flat and fast.
If you want a longer race, then race the B's. If you want to be more competitive, race the C's. Whichever group you choose; don't worry about where you finish. Remember we're doing this for fun!
For info on registration check out the SuperCup web page at www.kirongroup.com/index.html.
See you there!
