Anyone out there w/ a VooDoo Wazoo who is using road cranks (which ones?), who can tell me what width bottom bracket they're using?

Thanks everyone.

I THINK I've got at 113 mm spindle BB on mine; initially, I was using a set of old Shimano 600 cranks (if you remember the ones a year or two before they went to "Ultegra"). In order to increase the clearance between the right Chainstay & crankarm, I put a 2mm spacer on the right side of the bottom bracket. It wasn't touching, but was closer than I'd like.

A couple of weeks ago, I switched cranks to Shimano 105s, from the era a year or so before they went to a splined BB. I didn't bother to take out the spacer. There's about 5 or 6mm of clearance on the right (drive) side, and 3-4mm on the left side, which tells me I'd be fine without the spacer.

You'd also probably be fine with a 115mm BB spindle and most any Shimano Crank.

Good luck, and enjoy your Wazoo!!

Road triples and MTB triples- middle ring to center of seat tube should be 50mm +/-
Road doubles- outer ring to center of seat tube should be 50mm +/-

This measurement will tell you if your running the correct b/b.
