|i put these on my cross bike at the end of last year...i could never quite get them right.. well, with cross starting up pretty soon, i started looking at them again, changed a couple of things, but still no real change.
the problem is that there is no braking power...the Voodoo originally came with V-brakes with the adapter. i think that those worked better than these "cyclocross-specific" brakes. I called SRP this morning..but they were not much help..they just suggested having a mechanic look at it. totally different "helpfullness" then when i originally bought them.
im thinking of switching to Avids.. i hate to trash a pair of $100 brakes..but they just dont work that well.
any advise ??

|if you're not a good cantilever wrench, take it to a mechanic, a good one. great brakes, but a little finicky to set up. curious, what was your reason behind getting them? oh yeah, I'm sure someone will refer you to the ubiquitous sheldon brown's pages for help|

|everything i read and heard said that these brakes would perform alot better than the V-brakes...blah blah blah....
thought i would give it a try...but the Avid shortys seem alot easier to set up and adjust.
