Anyone have experience doing this? I weight 170-175 pounds.

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't - and why would you bother anyway? Any weight savings over say, Open Pros, which are only a fraction heavier on decent hubs will be minimal, and you risk trashing your decent set of wheels? If you really must, I guess they will hold up at least for a while, but a failure is going to be expensive, not to mention potentially dangerous..

To sum up, I'd say that unless you have no option (only one set of wheels say), then i would give it a miss and save them for the road.

A lot of the pros were using Mavic Heliums for the last couple years with no ill effects. They would only use them if they were confident in the strength of the wheel. I'm sure the Ksyriums are at least as strong. You should be fine. I think the main thing that it comes down to is how you ride. If you're a finesse rider, you'll be all set.
