Has anyone seen a disc brake set-up for cyclocross. I'm sick of killing a pad set is less than one race. Plus my commute has me changing brake pads every couple of weeks in the winter. I would love to be able to use something like Avid's mechanical disc brake with Shimano STI shifters/levers. I would prefer to have something made for STI levers. But has anyone seen an adapter to increase cable pull for an STI levers.

Help.

Try contacting Kelly Bikes http://www.kellybike.com/index.html

I stopped by their booth at the Mammoth Mtn NORBA NCS race, they had a tricked out cross bike w/ disc front and rear. Seemed kind of heavy 'though, felt like it was around 24lbs.

I looked on their site for the frame, but couldn't find it.

A couple of years ago I think I saw a Cannondale standard with Discs. Check out their old cataloques, '97 thru '99.
