Pedals included. For what size frame? I'm trying to get an idea as to where I stand.
59cm Litespeed Appalachian 20.25lbs

I know I can get it lighter...

Man, that is pretty light. My 60cm cross bike seems to weigh closer to 24lbs. Then again it's just straight gauge 7005 aluminum and a steel fork w/ mountainbike components. Any lighter w/ my weight( I weigh 198lbs) I would probably break it because of the way I ride.:)

Happy Trails,

I have a Bianchi MegaPro CX frame (56) built up with Dura Ace and Ultegra comp. that weighs 20.5 lbs. It weighs a bit more when I put the real cross tires on it though.

I've got a 60 cm Gunnar Crosshairs with mostly Ultegra and XT gear that comes in at around 22.5 lbs with pedals.

My Poprad comes in at about 23.5 with cross wheels and about 22.5 or 23 with lighter road wheels. This is without any particularly light parts on it. I can feel a bit of difference between 18 and 22, but I don't think I could tell you which bike was lighter if it was 21 vs. 23.

But it's a single speed. 58cm Gunnar street dog, phil wheels, ritchey speedmax tires, time aliums, king hs, mixed cheap sh*t other parts.

26.4 lbs 50cm '97 Redline Conquest (their cheap frame). Utter mongrel groupset. If you saw this stuff, you would not believe it actually works. You'd also be amazed at what people throw away or relegate to their "junk boxes" (the front mech is a '99 Campy Record, for example).

After 2 laps and 18 lbs of mud, the weight really doesn't matter much anyhow. I operate on the principle that a cross bike is essentially a 2-wheeled garbage truck. The bike cost me $300 total to build up, I've won more than that in prizes and primes racing it (sold my rb and am racing the cx in crits right now in fact) - and after all, how many out there besides the elite pro guys can actually say they've won the value of their bike back from racing it, hah? :)

Jake with Racing Triple and open pros and CX tyres on. Could get it lighter, but what's the point when mud is so heavy and beer so expensive?

My fully custom (frame+parts) Duratec, although heavy (4.11 lbs) frame, weighs including pedals some 18.25 lbs right now, but will be 17.5 after some small alterations.

I opted for single 42 ring up front. All parts are no-comprimize and never stupid-light. Neither is the bike stupidly expensive, except for the Zipp wheels (I wanted them!).

My Sunn Cycloss spare bike is stock 23.5 lbs, but after exchangeing some parts with the Duratec and my MTB´s, will be 20.9 lbs. Frame is sub-4 lbs.

More reply´s please!

A bit under 22 pounds. Gunnar Crosshairs set up with a Campy triple based mix of stuff. 52cm frame which thanks to the sloping top tube is equivalent to a 55cm frame. FWIW: The wire bead Contis that are on the bike right now weigh about the same as the kevlar bead Vittoria Tigre tires that are not mounted right now.
