|I going to get a bianchi axis but am unsure about sizing the frame. I am 6' with a 33.5" standover (barefeet). the 55cm has a 32" standover and the 58cm is 33". both would probably work. my main question is how would the ride be diferent between the two frame sizes?|

|I am about that size and would prefer a 55 over the 58 for CX. Most of my CX riding is races or trails so I prefer to have a bike sized more like a MTN bike but with a level top tube for portability. Ride differences would be hard to notice except that maybe the smaller size puts you further over the front or the back of the bike depending on how you set up your stem and seat.|

|the toptube size is the aformentioned centimeter measurements (center to center) given in my original message. I ended up getting the 55 which is actually 55.5. my seatpost hight is more like MTB than road.
I just took it on it's maden voyage. the ride is sweet. my speed is so much faster than a MTB on the flater rolling stuff without bumps. steering is sensitive because there is no squishy fork. it will take a while to tap into all the facets of the bike's personality. i look forward to that this summer in the boise foothills.
