I have not seen one myself, but the German road bike magazine "Tour" tested 4 compact cranks in their October issue (Tour, Nr. 10 Oktober 2003). One of the four was the TA Vega - not the "Lite" though (whatever the difference may be). They said that except being easily scratched, it is almost identical to the more expensive "Carmina", using the same rings and spider. Weight was 666 grams for the 175 version. Stiffness is about the same as Centaur or 105, shifting may be not quite as smooth as with Campy or Shimano rings.
I hope that helps.

Do you know that other compact doubles are supposed to be on the way? Ritchey's is supposed to be here in two weeks and I heard the same about a new Sugino for Octalink too. And FSA is supposed to have an Energy version of a compact double soon.
