Syntace C2 Aero Bars Instructions Needed(4 posts)

Syntace C2 Aero Bars Instructions NeededRuss1

Hi,
I recently bought a pair of C2s online and got no instructions for install. I put them on, but what with all this talk of yo-yo's I am left wondering if there is some fine-tuning I missed. If anyone has a link to instructions online, or can send me a set they no longer need, or photocopy a set for me for some good karma or a couple bucks via paypal, etc., please just let me know.
Thanks, and happy, safe riding.

Now that you mentioned it I don't remember any instructions. Basically you just put them on. What exactly do you need to know? For best aerodynamics your elbows should be close and the bars should incline to the front at about 15 degrees. But some comfort is also important.

Thanks, Al. I didn't totally understand the incline to the front at 15 degrees part. Relative to what?
Thanks in advance.

I have a tech book somewhere that says wind tunnel tests have shown that having the hands slightly higher than the handlebar reduces drag and that an angle on the aerobars of about 15 degrees is best. I'm not the expert but that's how I set mine. There's probably a lot of bicycle aerodynamics information available on the net.
