| 2001 Chorus hubs servicing | Higgins Jan 28, 2004 7:32 AM | | Hi,
I have Chorus hubs on my bike, and I'd like to service them. The instructions per the Campy website say you only need two 5mm allen keys, and a 2.5mm allen key. However, it goes on to suggest that a torque wrench should be used for some of the procedure. Can anyone tell me if this is correct? Where would I get such a tool from? |
| torque wrench... | C-40 Jan 28, 2004 7:44 AM | | If Campy instructions say to use a torque wrench for tightening something it has to be "correct". Whether it's necessary depends on your mechanical skills. Some folks never use a torque wrench without problem. The rest post inquiries about how to remove broken bolts.
Torque wrenches are available from Sears or online bike shops like Excel Sports. A 5mm allen key socket is also a common item at Sears. |
